Terms and Conditions -Romen cleaning services in Lisbon.

1. Service Agreement

By engaging the services of Romen Cleaning Service, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined herein. This agreement establishes the expectations and responsibilities of both parties to ensure a smooth and professional cleaning experience. These terms apply to all customers who book and use our residential cleaning services.

2. Scope of Services

Romen Cleaning Service provides residential and general home cleaning services, which include but are not limited to:

  • Regular house cleaning (dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and general tidying).
  • Deep cleaning (thorough cleaning of all surfaces, including hard-to-reach areas).
  • Move-in/move-out cleaning (detailed cleaning of empty properties before or after relocation).
  • Post-construction cleaning (removal of dust, debris, and residue left after renovations).
  • Sofa cleaning (vacuuming and surface cleaning of sofas and upholstered furniture).
  • Basic dusting, vacuuming, and mopping for general maintenance.

Additional services (such as oven cleaning, window cleaning, or refrigerator cleaning) may be available upon request and are subject to extra charges.

3. Pricing and Payment

Our pricing is determined based on several factors, including:

  • The size of the property (small apartments, medium-sized homes, large homes, or villas).
  • The type of cleaning service requested (regular, deep cleaning, post-renovation, etc.).
  • Cleaning frequency (one-time, weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly services).
  • Additional services requested (such as specialized appliance cleaning).

Payment Policy:

  • Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed upon.
  • We accept cash, bank transfers, PayPal, MB WAY, Revolut, and other specified payment methods.
  • Immediate payment is required after the service to avoid inconvenience or disruption in future bookings.
  • Any delayed payments may result in additional charges or suspension of services.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and we strive to accommodate our clients. However, we require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.
  • If a client needs to reschedule, we will do our best to find a suitable time, but availability is not guaranteed.
  • Romen Cleaning Service reserves the right to reschedule or cancel services due to unforeseen circumstances, such as staff illness, extreme weather, or emergencies.

5. Access to Property

To ensure a smooth cleaning process, clients must provide timely access to the property.

  • If our cleaners arrive at the scheduled time but cannot access the property due to locked doors, security issues, or other obstacles, a cancellation fee may apply.
  • Clients must ensure that our cleaning team can safely enter and exit the premises without difficulty.
  • If a client will not be present, arrangements must be made for key handover or access codes.

6. Client Responsibilities

To provide the best service possible, we ask our clients to:

  • Clearly communicate any special requests or cleaning preferences before the appointment.
  • Ensure that valuables and fragile items are properly stored or secured before our team arrives.
  • Inform us of any allergies or sensitivities to cleaning products before the service.
  • Ensure that any pets are secured or safely managed during the cleaning session.

7. Damages and Liability

While our team takes great care in providing professional cleaning services, Romen Cleaning Service cannot be held responsible for:

  • Pre-existing damage to furniture, flooring, or appliances.
  • Items that are not properly secured by the client before cleaning.
  • Minor wear and tear resulting from routine cleaning activities.

We carry insurance coverage for damages caused directly by our team. If an issue arises, clients must report any concerns within 24 hours of the cleaning service for a resolution to be considered.

8. Cleaning Supplies and Equipment

  • Our standard pricing does not include cleaning materials such as vacuums, mops, or cleaning solvents.
  • If clients require our cleaners to bring supplies, an additional fee will be applied.
  • Clients are welcome to provide their own preferred cleaning products if they have specific brand preferences.

9. Confidentiality and Privacy

Romen Cleaning Service respects the privacy of all clients.

  • Any personal information shared during booking or service provision will be kept strictly confidential.
  • Our staff is trained to maintain professional discretion and will not discuss any personal matters observed in a client’s home.
  • We do not share client details with third parties without consent.

10. Termination of Services

Either party may terminate services with written notice. Romen Cleaning Service reserves the right to terminate services in the event of:

  • Non-payment or repeated delays in payment.
  • Repeated cancellations or schedule disruptions.
  • Unsafe working conditions (e.g., hazardous environments, aggressive behavior from clients).
  • Any breach of this agreement that affects the ability to provide a professional service.

11. Health & Safety Policy

  • Our cleaners follow industry-standard safety procedures to ensure a safe cleaning process.
  • Clients must inform us if there are any health risks (such as mold, pest infestations, or hazardous chemicals) before booking.
  • Our team reserves the right to refuse a job if the environment is deemed unsafe.

12. Force Majeure

Romen Cleaning Service shall not be held liable for any delays, cancellations, or disruptions due to:

  • Natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, or pandemics.
  • Strikes, power outages, or other uncontrollable external factors.
  • Government restrictions or emergencies beyond our control.
